Engaging Adolescent Girls and Young Women Throughout the Intervention
Our study team will convene three regional youth advisory boards (YABs) with AGYW who will regularly provide feedback on study activities, review enrollment, and to provide feedback on implementation challenges throughout the study rollout. This is in direct alignment with the Quality Standards Framework for adolescent SRH interventions.
The YAB advises the project team about the aspects of the project that relate to the experience of youth in Shinyanga and Mwanza. Specifically, the Youth Advisory Board:
- Provides advice about how the views of youth can be included in the project and heard by policy makers at the district, regional and national levels;
- Provides advice about matters related to youth and sexual and reproductive health, including HIV prevention and prevention of unintended pregnancy; and
- Provides feedback and project ideas, strategies, and implementation.
